Abstract
Nuclear spin relaxation of the 63Cu host nuclei in Cu(Cr) alloy is measured at temperatures below the Kondo temperature of this alloy (TK≃0.5°K). The results indicate that the many‐body ground state of this system begins to break up, with both increasing temperature and increasing applied magnetic field, well below TK. The addition of 0.3 at.% Pt to one Cu(Cr) sample causes only a slight reduction of the many‐body fluctuations in the ground state. Keywords
