Abstract
The mobility of a large hard-sphere impurity in a Fermi liquid has been calculated by solving the transport equation for the quasiparticles exactly to order . Using the Landau parameters known for , the correction to the zero-temperature mobility, which was previously found to be proportional to , turns out to be somewhat too small. The temperature dependence is in agreement with experiment.
