Abstract
Cross sections have been determined for electron capture into the and states of atomic hydrogen by proton and deuteron (1.2-8.2 keV) impact on Ar, He, and Kr. The He cross sections both show an exponential increase with energy. Previous structure is confirmed and additional structure is indicated in the cross sections for impact on Ar. These data represent the first measurements of the and cross sections for impact on krypton.
