Abstract
The Hall effect for Armco iron is examined in detail over a large range of fields. The effect is given by a sum of the ordinary and the extraordinary effect over the range investigated, including the nonlinear region. It is shown that the extraordinary Hall constant is independent of field within the experimental error. The approach to magnetic saturation in Armco iron is examined at high fields. The Hall effect is shown to be useful for studying detailed behavior of magnetic properties. Keywords
