Abstract
A process for the purification of diphtherial toxin by the selective absorption of toxin and toxoid with Mg(OH)2, Mg lactate and Ca phosphate is described. Recoveries ranged from 33 to 56%. An increase in Lf units per mg. of N from 11 to 13 in the crude toxin to 250 in the purified material was achieved. Keywords
