Abstract
Although the phenomenon of saltation of sand grains in a sand storm is very complicated, there exists the successive saltation defined by the authors. The height and distance of saltation of sand grains in successive saltation by wind are compared with the theory of successive saltation proposed by the authors. The concentration of sand grains and velocity profile in a saltation layer are theoretically investigated with the aid of the results of experiment. Keywords
