Abstract
The clinical severity [in guinea pigs] of EAE [experimental allergic encephalomyelitis] is enhanced by pre-treatment with [canine] distemper, measles and BCG vaccine, measles vaccine gives a more severe onset of disease. Rubella vaccine and TAB [typhoid-paratyphoid A and B] leads to mild disease which recurs on re-treatment with the appropriate vaccine. These findings and their possible significance in MS [multiple sclerosis] are briefly discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
