Abstract
Expts. in which aureomycin was fed at rates of 7.2, 10.2 and 14.4 mg. per lamb daily during 4 feeding expts. involving 199 lambs, showed that aureomycin may be included in lamb fattening rations at levels from 7-14 mg. over a period of 100 days without causing any ill effect; failed to stimulate feed consumption materially, and materially reduced the death loss from over-eating. 14.4 mg. of aureomycin reduced the rate of gain and feed efficiency as compared to lower units.
