Abstract
Balance studies were performed on 4 nephrotic children to evaluate the relative merits of acidifying resin and dialyzed milk regimens. The resin did not appear to increase rate of diuresis or of Na excretion, although on Na-containing diets fecal Na rose. Stool K increased and serum K tended to fall, although external balances were not significantly affected. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
