Abstract
The comparative efficacy of Khellin[long dash]the active principle of the plant Ammi visnaga[long dash]and nitroglycerine in preventing angina of effort and the ecg. changes that may accompany it was tested in 12 patients. In the doses studied, Khellin was less potent but longer lasting than nitroglycerine.Keywords
