Abstract
Gamma‐ray counting experiments performed with a gated counting time which increases linearly are reported. The resultant counting distribution is flat over a large bandpass of counts as predicted earlier for photocounting experiments, or for any Poisson process, when the mean is linearly swept. Keywords
