Abstract
There is no evidence of excessive gastrointestinal protein loss. A low serum albumin concentration is associated with reduced albumin synthesis. This defect in albumin synthesis appears to be the major factor in the hypoalbuminemia in this group of patients with lymphoma. Keywords
