Abstract
We analyze a survey designed to assess the knowledge and attitudes of 1,298 Filipino health professionals towards breast-feeding. Some of the issues examined are the benefits of breast-feeding, the psychophysiology of lactation, contraindications to breast-feeding, and the effects of drugs and contraceptives on lactation. We found a fairly low level of knowledge about breast-feeding, particularly of health contraindications. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
