Genetics of convulsive disorders

Abstract
The chief conclusion derived from this study is that the centrencephalic type of electroencephalogram is the expression of an autosomal dominant gene, with the unusual characteristic of a very low penetrance at birth. It rises rapidly tonearly complete penetrance for ages 4 1/2 to 16 1/2 years and declines gradually to almost no penetrance after the age of 40 1/2 years.
