Isospin Splitting of the Giant Dipole Resonance inZn64

Abstract

The ($\gamma ,np$) reaction is discussed as a probable channel for observation of the $T=T_0+1\mathrm{}$ component of the giant dipole resonance, and experimental evidence is presented in support of this conjecture in the case of ${}_{}{}^{64}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Zn}$.
