Abstract
The hyperon-nucleon scattering is described by a potential model. The scattering data require a resonance in the scattering, for which resonance there seems to be experimental evidence. Its position and the scattering data determine the effective-range parameters, and combined with the scattering data it determines the effective-range parameters.
