Abstract
The rate of degradation has the kinetics of a linear reaction, and a temperature coefficient (Q10[degree]) equal to 2.1. From considerations of the permeability of the corpuscular membrane, and the ability of certain substances to inhibit this reaction, the hypothesis is suggested that glucose is degraded on the corpuscle surface. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
