Use of Fluorescent Particles to trace Oyster Biodeposits in Marine Sediments

Abstract
The oyster Crassostrea virginica was fed fluorescent particles to label its faeces and pseudofaeces. This technique was used to trace incorporation of these biodeposits into subsurface estuarine sediments.
