Abstract
The spin polarization, depolarization ratio and differential cross sections are calculated for the elastic scattering of electrons by lithium, sodium, potassium and caesium atoms for the impact electrons energies below the excitation threshold. The phase shifts evaluated in the two-state close coupling approximation (Karule 1965) are used throughout. Keywords
