Abstract
In a previous paper (Pospelov, 1926a) I pointed out that adult locusts (Locusta migratoria migratoria, L.) kept in a cage at a constant temperature of 35–38°C. (95–100°F.) and at sufficient humidity attained sexual maturity in a month, while those kept at 20–30°C. (68–86°F.) failed to mature even after three months. Keywords
