Meson Regge Exchanges from Simultaneous Analysis ofπNScattering Data and Dispersion Sum Rules

Abstract

An analysis of high-energy $\pi N$ scattering is made, through the range $0\le -t\le 2$ (${\mathrm{G}\mathrm{e}\mathrm{V}/\mathit{c})}^2$, in terms of $P$, $P^{\prime }$, $P^{\prime \prime }$, $\rho$, and ${\rho }^{\prime }$ Regge poles. High-energy data are supplemented by continuous-moment sum rules that exploit low-energy data through analyticity. Predictions are made for a range of current and future experiments.
