Abstract
From abundant data the authors observe that digitalis consistently decreases the Q-T interval in relation to the R-R interval, sometimes without a parallel decrease in heart size. This result is interpreted as an important index of myocardial efficiency in recovery from heart failure. The duration of electrical systole in relation to cycle length appears to excel other electrocardiograph guides to digitalis therapy. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
