Abstract
This review of 264 papers discusses: pulsatile flow and pressure-flow relations; ventricular load and cardiac output; wave-propagation characteristics, including wave attenuation and transmission in pulmonary circulation: theories and electrical analogs of systems; arterial elasticity, including cardiovascular sound and flow patterns; microcirculation, along with pressure between capillary and extracellular space; and, instruments, such as electronmagnetic f lowmeters and thermistors to record pulsatile flow. This publication has 102 references indexed in Scilit:
