New mechanism for deterministic diffusion

Abstract
We show that some of the deterministic one-dimensional cellular automata studied recently by Wolfram exhibit a kind of spontaneous symmetry breaking. The associated kinks (Bloch walls) perform annihilating diffusive walks for large times.Keywords
