Abstract
White muscles of guinea pig (M. biceps femoris) are richer in creatin phosphoric acid, creatin, and lactacidogen than the red muscles (M. semitendi-nosus). In the white muscle, a larger % of creatin is bound with phosphoric acid (as creatin phosphoric acid) than in red muscle. In heart muscle creatin is less than in either white or red striated muscle.
