Abstract
A malnutrition syndrome (failure to grow, loss of wt., gastrointestinal defects, skin and hair changes, anemia, fatty liver, and neurological signs) is due to a native diet deficient in Vit. B complex, protein, and calories. This syndrome is distinct from pellagra and from nutritional edema and should be termed "malignant malnutrition.".Keywords
