Abstract
Thermodynamic quantities for mixtures of real gases.—Using the two assumptions, that at infinitely low pressures the energies of real gases are additive and the equilibrium pressure is given by the product of the total pressure into the mol fraction, there are deduced general thermodynamic equations for the energy, heat content, entropy, thermodynamic potentials of gas mixtures and the chemical potential of a gas in a mixture in terms of the independent variables p and T, and V and T.
