Individual plants under the same conditions yielded nectars differing in quantity and in sugar conc. Light variation caused by foggy periods resulted in daily nectar production of 8.6-23.3 mg. Range in relative humidity from 100 to 70% influenced sugar conc. in the nectar from 12-61%. Artificial reduction in light, air pressure, temp. and water supply all lessened the yield of nectar.
