Abstract
This is the first report, to my knowledge, of physiologic verification of neural alteration in patches of alopecia mucinosa. The patient had a loss of the triple response of Lewis, loss of histamine flare, and loss of sweat response to methacholine chloride in the areas of alopecia mucinosa. Keywords
