Abstract

Reaction of (η²-ethene)bis(triphenylphosphine)platinum(0) with Hg(NSO)₂ yields trans-bis(sulphinylnitrilo)bis(triphenylphosphine)platinum-(II); the NSO^– ligands are σ-bonded.
