Abstract
A model is constructed in which there are equally massive vector mesons, which are self-consistent bound states of pairs of these same vector mesons. It is shown that must be equal to the number of parameters of some compact, semisimple Lie group, and that the renormalized coupling constants must be proportional to the structure constants of the group.
