Abstract
MAPKs are involved in many cellular processes such as cell survival, chromatin remodeling, and cell division. [Nebreda and Gavin][1] discuss new findings showing that the downstream effectors of MAPK activity are the Rsk protein kinases that can phosphorylate transcription factors, histones, and kinases involved in the cell cycle ([Bhatt and Ferrell][2], [ Bonni et al .][3], [ Gross et al ][4].).
