Abstract
It is shown for the first time that a nonsoliton transmission line consisting of dispersion shifted fibers can be converted into a soliton transmission line by using a dispersion-allocated soliton technique. This technique is similar to linear pulse propagation but its inherent nature is that of soliton propagation. Keywords
