Abstract
In the course of radiation therapy for malignant tumors of the oral cavity, squamous metaplasia of the glandular epithelium of the normal mucous membrane of the oral cavity was observed in a series of 64 cases. This represents another instance in which prolif erative changes have been induced in normal tissues by ionizing radiation. Keywords
