Abstract
1. A method of obtaining accurate growth curves of euglenoid mass cultures is described and its efficiency demonstrated. 2. It is shown that under the conditions described no allelocatalytic effect is present in cultures of Euglena sp., and it is also shown that data of other workers which have been used to support the allelocatalytic theory do not support it but indicate the absence of any allelocatalytic effect. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
