Possibility of Another Dynamical Effect in Muonic Atoms

Abstract

The possibility of a new dynamical effect in muonic lead arising from the excitation of discrete nuclear dipole states just below the neutron separation energy is discussed. The effect although small may be observable in high-resolution work.
