Abstract
Within the framework of Gribov's asymptotic Feynman-diagram approach, general production processes are considered. The multi-Regge model (MRM) is derived, and the assumptions required in the derivation are analyzed and justified. Classes of Feynman diagrams expected to contribute Regge-cut effects to the full production amplitude are studied. The anticipated cut behavior is established. The asymptotic limit is found to depend not only on the Reggeon "masses," but also on , the additional invariants required to specify the full amplitude. The relevance of these results for multi-Regge bootstraps is discussed.
