Abstract
Classification, symptoms, pathogenesis, ischemic patterns and genetics of migraine headaches are reviewed in patients. EEG, computed axial tomography scans, skull roentgenograms, cerebrospinal fluid analysis and cerebral angiograms are presented for diagnosis. Drug therapy is suggested by administration of the following agents: prostaglandin synthetase inhibitors (aspirin, indomethacin and acetaminophen), propranolol, caffeine and amitriptyline hydrochloride. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
