Glucagon and Propranolol (Inderal) Toxicity

Abstract
To the Editor: On September 30, 1971, a 37-year-old woman, with a history of depressive reaction, was admitted to the North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, after an overdose of drugs. She had ingested 100 tablets of imipramine (Tofranil) (25 mg), a questionable amount (0 to 100) of diazepam (Valium) (5 mg) and 80 tablets of propranolol (10 mg). On admission she was comatose, cyanotic, cold in the extremities and with marked distention of the neck veins.
