Density of states of quasi-one-dimensional charge-density and spin-density waves

Abstract
Making use of the quasi-two-dimensional model of charge-density waves, we analyze the electron density of states of observed by the electron tunneling technique. The model provides excellent description of both the observed density of states and the temperature dependence of the energy gap.
