Stability of Food Dominance Relationships in a Flock of Goats

Abstract
The purpose of this note is to describe food dominance relationships in a flock of goats (Capra hircus) studied for a period of nine years at the Roscoe B. Jackson Memorial Laboratory (Hamilton Station) in Bar Harbor, Maine. We have attempted to determine the pattern of food-related dominance relationships in this flock when tested in a similar situation over a period of time.
