Abstract
The influence of the preparative conditions on superconducting characteristics was investigated for GdBa2Cu3O7-δ ceramics. It was found that the critical temperatures T c of the specimens sintered in air were strongly dependent on the forming pressure and the sintering temperature. On the other hand, all T c values of the specimens annealed in oxygen atmosphere indicated above 90 K. However, the critical current densities of the latter specimens were strongly dependent on the sintering and annealing temperatures, and the maximum value of 355 A/cm2 was obtained. Keywords
