Critical neutron scattering in the critical concentration region for the onset of ferromagnetism

Abstract
Diffuse elastic magnetic scattering of unpolarised neutrons from weakly ferromagnetic PtCo alloys appear to show that critical scattering, caused by concentration induced critical fluctuations of the order parameter (the spontaneous magnetisation), occurs in the critical concentration region for the onset of ferromagnetism.Keywords
