Abstract
It was not possible to separate tyrosinase into 2 enzymes or into an enzyme and a coenzyme. Homoquinone water activated the action of tyrosinase upon p-cresol and phenol, but not upon catechol. H2O2 activated the action of tyrosinase upon monohydric phenols. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
