Contribution of Hardtack Debris to Contamination of the Air during 1959

Abstract

A comparison of the concentrations of tungsten-185 and strontium-90 in the air at various times after the 1958 U.S. nuclear tests in the Pacific indicatesthat debris from this test series contributed less than 10 percent of the total Sr⁹⁰ content of the ground-level air at Miami and Washington during the spring of 1959.
