Abstract
A right atrial catheter was implanted into 15 patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation as a treatment for acute leukemia. The catheter remained in position for 79 .+-. 34 days. No catheter-related septicemia was observed. This catheter apparently was helpful in supporting bone marrow transplant recipients.
