Abstract
Two models are presented for which the full multiparticle matrix is unitary at high energies. The production mechanism is based on the multiperipheral model. It is shown that the elastic-scattering amplitude contains a new type of cut in the angular-momentum plane which is dynamical in origin. This unitarity cut plays a crucial role in enforcing the Froissart bound.
