Abstract
In oil palm plantations where pathways through the cover-crop are kept open by applications of arsenical herbicide, this fern species, because it is not killed out, or even greatly harmed by the treatment, and because its xerophytic characteristics enable it to withstand and to grow rapidly under semi-arid conditions, has become an nuisance by blocking up pathways. Biological aspects and control measures are discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
