Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, and Folinic Acid Factors in Digested Municipal Sludge.

Abstract
Anaerobic digestion of municipal sewage sludge leads to formation of many compounds, identified by paper chromatography, ionophoresis, and bioautography. Crystalline cyanocobalamin was isolated. Other factors found were: hydroxocobalamin, factor A, pseudovitamin B12, factor B, factor C, factor C2, and factors belonging to the folic and folinic acid groups, including desoxyribosides.
