Abstract
After a brief review of the incidence of malignant tumors of the vulva, the author describes a rare case of sarcoma of the vulva which was localized in the area of Bartholin''s gland and grew to the size of a man''s fist. Biopsy revealed a hemangioendothelial sarcoma. Macroscopic, microscopic, and cytological findings as well as data on the operation and post-operative X-ray treatment are presented. One year after the operation, the patient is in excellent condition.
